WILMINGTON, Del. — Travelers looking for more nonstop flight options from Delaware will soon have new choices. Avelo Airlines has announced it will begin offering nonstop flights from Wilmington Airport (ILG) to both Chicago and Atlanta beginning in 2026.
New Nonstop Routes from Wilmington
The low-cost carrier will launch direct routes to:
- Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) — starting March 12, 2026
- Flights will operate four times per week: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
- Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) — starting February 12, 2026
- Flights will operate five times per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays
These additions mark Avelo’s first direct routes connecting Delaware travelers to two of the busiest airports in the United States.
