KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) — Traveling just got easier for Kansas City residents as Southwest Airlines announced a major expansion of its routes from Kansas City International Airport (KCI), adding new direct flights and increasing service to several popular destinations.

Starting June 4, 2026, Southwest will launch three new direct routes from Kansas City:
- Kansas City → Boston Logan International Airport (Daily Service)
